When
night falls, it affords comfort to the hunchback that he can walk proud as a
prince. It reprieves countless fields of corn whose sole duty is to wave enthusiastically
from dawn to dusk in the direction of dusty farm roads. It brings life to poets,
and justifies a whore’s self esteem. Unlike the sun that is envious of the
stars and decides to shine brighter than all else, the night embraces the moon
and in turn the moon shares its stage with the stars. And sometimes, the night
becomes so quiet that you can eve hear street lamps singing.
